Maintaining Ocean Freight Tariffs and Quotation in accordance withCompany’s and Principal’s guidelines / parameters, filing Customer wise OceanFreight with Online System Software. Directly procured business new shippers /exporters / forwarders / logistics companies and consignee / importers. Pivotalin constantly motivating and guiding the Sales force to target potentialExporters / International Freight Forwarders / Custom House Agents. Haveregularly monitored competition activities by regularly abstracting informationfrom the port in regards number of inventories loaded for various trade lanes ,and according taking persuasive action in consultation with my senior. Alongwith my Sales teams have given personalized service and attention to ourcustomers by offering special ocean freights etc and entertaining clientsregularly. Enhanced market share through regular personal meetings andmaintaining excellent relations with customers. Communicate closely withoperations and documentation and customer service department for customerneeds. Prepares reports of various kinds mainly related to the salesperformance and market scenario. Analysis of the previous performance andderive strategy for increasing the market share and revenue. Provides feedbackto principals on customer needs, competitor’s strength and weakness and otherpertinent issues. Preparing trade wise monthly sales report and export forecastto each lines and submit to the M.D & Principals. Coordinating with allArea Sales Managers, visiting the Consignees in each area and secure the cargofor the Shipping Lines. Also solving the problem if they are having any.Participate in the submission and execution of the volume contract shipments.Directs, guides and counsels the sales, operations and documentation team foroptimum client satisfaction. Conducts periodical meetings to address staffoutput and achieve sales target. Build strong relationship with seniormanagement in order to identify areas for business development and growth.Handle customer complaints and claims.
