Pogba answers critics with ‘emoji’ haircut
Paul Pogba celebrated France’s 1-0 win vs Netherlands with “emoji” haircut
When it comes to sporting a haircut, Paul Pogba will not be far behind.
In fact, he may be ahead of the rest in setting the trend as far as the crowning glory is concerned.
The world’s most expensive player celebrated France’s 1-0 win over the Netherlands (he scored the only goal) in their World Cup qualifier by going to the barber on Monday to, what else, get a new hair style.
This time, the one he chose was inspired by emoji, thus calling it “emoji crazy” design. Emoji are ideograms and smileys used in electronic messages and Web pages.
The Manchester United midfielder displayed his new look on Instagram, with the trim featuring a “100” symbol and the fire emoji on the right side of his head, highlighting signs of social media appreciation. On the left side is a tribal-style feature.
Pogba is expected to let everyone see how he presently looks in person when United face Liverpool at Anfield on Friday in a mouth-watering Premier League encounter.
The new haircut is also Pogba’s way of answering his critics.
France coach Didier Deschamps earlier said Pogba needs to improve and he did just that with his brilliant strike in the 30th minute against the Dutch at Amsterdam Arena.
Among those who sided with Pogba was his France teammate, goalkeeper Hug Lloris, who claimed Pogba has indeed recovered after their recent match against Bulgaria.
As for the playmaker’s new haircut, Lloris remarked “it’s cool.”
