“The results suggest in most cases the trim edge of the glass is too SHORT (points 1,2,3,4) on the LHS and should be addressed via changing the size of the glass blank. In most cases the moulded form shape gap between glass to the check fixture surface is OK in all areas but along the top edge of the glass which would suggest the shape of the glass sag tool could be improved to fall closer to nominal (at points 6, 9, 10 in particular to the edges).”
Holes:
There seems to be a problem with the size of the pins on jig:
The large pin must be 40mm or more the small pins 10.5. If these are not can you have the jigs corrected to within +/-0.3 on nominal diameter?
Does the hand held check fixture 6000-043 as per SOP PS-50066
CP curvature:
For the samples you are not shipping, can you please remeasure the CP points and add them to the SIR and add their distances from nominal +ve or –ve? (we need quantitative data to make a call on changing CP pointers on the check fixtures
