3.2.1. Results of G-banding analysis during passaging
The hAD-MSCs exhibited four types of chromosomal aberrations
according to G-banding analysis during nine passages: trisomy 7,
trisomy 9, t(7;22), and t(6;10). These cells displayed normal karyotypes
at earlier passages, but trisomy 7 and t(7;22) appeared
at the fifth passage and persisted into the ninth passage. An
additional translocation, t(6;10), appeared at the sixth passage
(Fig. 1A), whereas the clone with t(6;10) disappeared at the seventh
passage, which corresponded with the reappearance oft(7;22)
(Fig. 1B). These changes persisted through the eighth passage, and
G-banding analysis of the ninth passage failed because the cells did
