Zero-current ion-flux has a great influence on the characteristics of the ion-selective electrodes.In this
work theimprovementofanalyticalperformanceofall-solid-statePb2þ-selectivemembraneelectro-
des wasdemonstratedbyadjustingthetransmembraneionflux.Thestudyisfocusedonthe
relationshipbetweentheconditioningsolutionandthelinearworkingrangeoftheobtainedelectrodes
for differentsamplematrixes.Resultsshowthattheelectrodewithappropriateconditioningkeeps
good reproducibilitywithinlinearworkingrange.Theutilityoftheelectrodehasbeentestedby
successfullydeterminingPb2þ concentrationinrealwatersamples.
