The educator's job is to aid culture by
-setting clear goals for the child's learning
-modelling behaviours linked to those goals
-allowing children to imitate behaviours that the child has observed
-acting as a social reinforcer for desired behaviours and skills modelled by the child.

-is structured to allow the child to observe the educator as he or she models social and other behaviours for the child.
Content
-Adults choose the goals and thus they contrl the content to be learned.
-Adults indirectly control the learning through modelling and thus the contrnt is often what is being modelled by the adult.
