Tables 4 and 5 present the results similar to Table 3 for
gas flow rates of 500 and 1000 standard ml min1, respectively.
As can be seen, axial positioning errors were
decreased with increasing the gas flow rates. Moreover,
the differences between results obtained from experimental
teats and simulation were greatly decreased. Temperature
drops are higher for lower gas flow rates. With
considering equal temperature for gas at tube inlet, temperature
gradients are lower for higher gas flow rates. In
result, despite the existence of axial positioning error, sensor
measured the temperature of gas at tube outlet with
smaller difference with respect to simulations. Temperatures
presented in Tables 4 and 5 confirm the statement
discussed above.
