Pressure, defined as the ratio of a force to the area over which it exerts, is ubiquitous in basic operations in nature and human society. The Earth's gravity and most physical contact contribute to the generation of pressure. Even inside the human body, regular physiological activities generate various pressures, including blood pressure, intraocular pressure, etc., all of which are significant health indicators. Pressure sensors can generate signals under certain pressures and operate in a manner, namely, signal transduction.
