My favourite author is Patricia Cornwell, and I like most crime writing.
I also like books that don't take long to read and you can easily pick up and put down, by authors like Celia Aherne.
I enjoyed Jodi Picoult, though have to have a break between her books, as they are a bit "angsty". I don't really like to cry on my "coffee breaks" from the kids.
I quite like reading teen fiction too, though haven't read the Twilight series yet.
In my local library there's a book club section with Richard and Judy's recommended, and I've read quite a few of those.
I try and pick up "classics" occasionally, like Crime and Punishment (Didn't particularly enjoy that one!).
My ambition is to read all the books on those top 100 books to read before you die lists, and I think I've read over 50 of them now - As I have a 13 week old DD as well as a toddler DD, I don't think I'll make much progress with the list for a while now though!!!
