A survey by the Tourism Bureau in Taiwan indicated that from
January 2010 to December 2010, Japanese tourists consumed the
most among inbound tourists, whereas Chinese tourists purchased
the most. Regarding their daily shopping expenditure, Chinese
tourists spent US$138.10 per day, which was considered the highest
among all inbound tourists. Japanese tourists spent US$ 76.77 per
day, which was considered the second highest among all inbound
