The Pantone Matching System® (PMS) is a global standard in color matching. Due to variation in computer screens, colors do not print how they are viewed on screen. By using a globally accepted color matching system,
manufacturers in different parts of the world are able to match colors exactly using specific ink blends.
CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key or Black) refers to the color breakdown in a common method of full-color printing. Each pass
on the press prints a color over the previous color, giving the illusion of multiple colors.
