Last decades of the twentieth century have created a very unfavourable
constellation for tourism in Serbia, where all problems accumulated over time
in tourism and hotel management itself became evident, and even more the
problems of its undefined place and role in the economy and society as a
whole. It has to be pointed out that tourism significantly contributes to
diminishing the effects of global disruption of national economy. Tourist
