Subject: Man-hour Booking
In regards to booking onto a project we need to ensure that anyone who is doing approved work on a project books to that project. This means any staff who has been instructed by the project management team to work on a project must book their actual hours spent to that project. No exceptions tolerated.
If you are not authorised to work on the project by the project management team then you should let the project manager know before you commence work and booking to the project.
Any person in the company who instructs a person who is doing approved work on the project not to book their hours to the project such as an instruction to book to over heads shall face strict disciplinary actions. If this happens in the future please report this to your department manager.
It is very important for the management of the company to know exactly where the company productive man-hours are spent and we can only get the accurate reports if you book correctly.
