In order to gain preliminary information regarding the genetic heterogeneity within the PCR product sequences RFLP analysis of ITS1 gene PCR product was performed using restriction enzyme HaeII. As expected genus specific primers of 16S rDNA not only provide identical PCR product but also their restriction maps (data not shown).The species specific ITS1 gene RFLP provided excellent differential fragmentation patterns within the Pseudomonas isolates (Fig.1c). In order to complement RFLP results, standard BOX PCR analysis (Marquesetal.,2008)was also performed(Fig.1d).
