Because of the thermal loading capacity of the double terminals employed, a series connection (also called through-wiring) can be used up to load currents 125 A. For load currents .125 A, the SPDs are connected in the conductor branch (so-called parallel wiring). The maximum cable lengths according to IEC 60364-5-53 must be observed. The parallel wiring can be implemented as shown in Figure 7.64.
