1. The intention is to ship the same distribution of parts before and after the media transition. Since the CM4L/B qualifications took place prior to the ET test transition, this should be valid. Its possible some minor tweaking will be required once we've been building for awhile on the new disc.
2. Some tests will shift parametrically as you highlighted.
(i) Reader screens may be sensitive to the higher amplitude. With the existing specs, we might expect higher yield loss due to driving the readers harder. For now, recommend these be made yield neutral to the change by adjusting the individual specs. If we see trouble in ORT/ODT later, these can always be readjusted. In any case, we will include some testing as part of any lead lot/RGA plan.
(ii) WPE and OW screens will also shift; recommend translating specs according to the measured shifts so that the shipping distribution remains the same.
