The world has been going back and forth since September, wondering whether or not Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas are actually a thing. Because these days, when a celeb heads to Disney World with another celeb, it's basically the equivalent of going steady. "It's nice to get acquainted with myself alone," the 36-year-old actress says. "You know, the goal when you get into a relationship is not to be out of the relationship. It's to try to stay in the relationship. But if it doesn't work, you can't force things."
Now, I'm not saying she's talking about forcing things with Nick—she could actually be talking about her called-off engagement to Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. But still, she's saying it loud and clear: Girl is unattached and has zero problems with that.

KATE HUDSON FINALLY SPEAKS ABOUT THOSE NICK JONAS …
"It's good to take a second to make my life about getting myself centered, clearing the energy, no overlapping," she says. "I'm at that age now. I really do feel very lucky. I've had my kids [Ryder, 11, Bingham, 4] and my relationships. I've set my life down—I'm in my house, and I'm alone with my children—and I'm at peace, and that's a really nice feeling. All I really want in my life is to maintain that."
So there you go. Time for the tabloids to drum up their next celeb couple or accuse yet another one of getting divorced.
