Understanding more about cancer survivors use of yoga may lead to the development and promotion of yoga- based intervention that appeal to longer group of survivors, making available a complementary Intervention that has demonstrated positive effects on many aspects of health and well-being .the present study addressed four question: (1) haw many cancer survivors practice yoga ,and how much yoga they practice ? , (2) why do survivors select yoga ?, (3) what characteristict predict who does yoga ? and (4) haw is yoga use related to well-being ,broadly defined ? we addressed these questions within a sample of young adult survivors for two reasons .this group has higher rates of distress (e.g.,) yet has relatively little research attention . furthermore ,younger adult survivors are more likely to embrace mind-body approaches to health promotion.
