experimental equipment, the brake torque and fuel flow rate were measured with equipment fixed on the dynamometer. An engine speed was measured with a DIGICON digital tachometer model DT- 240P. An exhaust gas temperature (EGT) was measured with a digital thermometer (FLUKE coupled with K-type thermocouple). Exhaust gas emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitric oxide (NO), and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) were measured with a TESTO flue gas analyzer model 350 M/XL. In addition, for this work, the main objective was to comparatively study the overall
performance and emissions of the tested engine when it was normally operated with different fuels at the specified loads and speed so the inside operating parameters of the engine were not modi- fied, controlled, and measured.
