Another way to check for understanding is to ask the entire class to demonstrate the correct (or incorrect) use of a component. For example:
- “Put your elbow in middle level” (to see if they understand levels).
- “Show me where not to put your arms when you do a sit-up” (to check for their understanding of arm placement).
- “Show me how you look when you ‘squash’ your landing after a jump” (lets the teacher observe whether the children understand the concept of bending at the hips, knees, and ankles).
