Specifically, while less than 1.5% of Korean nurses with Musculoskeletal disorder symptoms had reduced or modified their work as a result, 30.8–46.8% of American nurses with Musculoskeletal disorder cases had done so. This may indicate that while individual nurses with Musculoskeletal disorder symptoms made efforts such as seeing a doctor or reducing leisure activities to alleviate or cure the symptoms, Korean management enforced few measures to prevent Musculoskeletal disorder such as reducing/ modifying nurses’ work or job rotations, compared to the USA.
