Nah it doesn't get better then this.
There's no way.
The satisfaction of finally being able to completely unwind.
Ended up in Bangkok with my reservation being denied due to other people checking in? Hostelworld has been a disappointment regarding this. You are charged and committed whether or not you get your lodging.
Whatever though.
The area is familiar enough to me to know where to go.
You get to a point where you honestly can smile and move on anticipating the next move.
I ended up stopping at my favorite guesthouse I had frequented a few times (which unfortunately had nothing available) yet it was awesome to take a breather with my pack and catch up with some lovely local familiars.
Ended up walking through my famous secret alleyway to score the most beautiful home with a sprawling veranda.
I was so HOT, I was so faded, so ready to just commit to anywhere with a bed and a shower I told reception I didn't even want to check the room out first.
It's an icebox. It's got a shower! It has a gorgeous view I can't wait to capture.
Life is complete after such an intense mission.
I adore the Ratchiburri village. Just sitting here with my first authentic Thai food and a coconut with my journal is so rewarding. Watching the Bangkok life drift by before Khao San road erupts into its inevitable insanity.
The calm before the storm.
The smells. The sights.
Ahhh..
So many friends to run into tonight.
It's funny during the whole exhausting mission to get out here, Bangkok traffic felt longer then the damn flight!
The whole time amping myself up mentally thinking about how I'm going to nap. Netflix and shower.
All I did was shower and bounce.
Bangkok gives you adrenaline you never even knew possible.
Bonus on that is I will most definitely pass out tonight adequately with the new time zone.
