During this period of pilgrimage, monks apply
traditional Thai medicinal knowledge to treat
themselves in times of illness. They have also
developed the known 127 yogi stretching postures
(Luesri Dadton) to maintain good health, relieve
stiffness and heal certain ailments such as arm
discomfort or abdominal discomfort, dizziness or
problems during meditation, severe muscular cramps,
and chronic diseases etc.
