A natural development of the research work is represented by the comparison of the results achieved
by TLS, IR thermography and other non-destructive tests. In this context, the authors are already
planning to study in depth the properties of the different materials of the historical compound, using not
only the instruments described in this paper, but also further non-destructive tools, for example a field
spectroradiometer in order to detect the signature of these materials over a wide spectral range.
