Rank of management perception observed relatively less in both the cases, which implies that management perception appears to be utterly discouraging. In case of CM, the survey indicates that the management even less interested than the workers to adopt LM. It is because the LM directly affects the current management practices and they have to make workers conversant with tools and techniques. The prejudiced mindset of sticking to age old tested technique rather than going for any change is the key factor in mindset of prevailing management to initiate LM. The fear of loosing undue control over workers is also another impediment in the process of implementing LM, once they will be made multifunctional and empowered to take decisions.
