two openings, one at base and other on top of the cabinet for air inlet and air outlet respectively. So, it is also called as cabinet drying. Some part of solar radiation incident on the glass cover is reflected back to atmosphere. The rest part of solar radiation is transmitted into the cabinet. Further, a part of transmitted radiation is absorbed by surface of crop and rest reflected back. Thus temperature of crop increases. Due to increment in temperature of crop, it starts emitting long wave length which is trapped in cabinet and temperature of cabinet air stats increasing. Further, this increased temperature helps to increase moisture evaporation. The moisture is taken away by fresh air coming in chamber from inlet and going out through the top of wall opening (exit opening) on other side.
