Priority A - A finding will be considered to be a "Priority A" if its impact or potential impact can be described using the following criteria:
• A catastrophic or severe impact on the environment, safety, or health
• Threatening the shutdown of the facility
• Likely to impact the company’s reputation
• Requires top management to become involved with a resolution
• A key program is absent
• Previous Priority B findings which have not been corrected or which have recurred
Priority A exceptions and observations require immediate (without delay) corrective action.
Priority B - A finding will be considered "Priority B" if its impact or potential impact can be described using the following criteria:
• A moderate impact on the environment, safety, or health
• Resolution requires involvement of mid-level management
• Key programs have gaps
• Previous Priority C findings which have not been corrected or which have recurred
Priority B exceptions and observations require prompt attention.
Priority C - A finding will be considered "Priority C" if its impact, or potential impact, can be described using the following criteria:
• Programs need to be fine-tuned
• Resolution of issues can be handled by local personnel with no other assistance
