On average, the estimated body lipid mass increased over the whole trial from 202 to 290 g/kg BW, whereas the estimated body protein content decreased from 166 to 156 g/kg BW (Table 4). Average lipid and protein accretion was 265 and 95 g/d, respectively, with a corresponding mean Lr:Pr of 2.8. Both estimated body lipid and protein content, as well as Pr and Lr, were unaffected by the diet.
