For each age group (>6, 6–12,
13–21 years) and GMFCS level subgroup
(I, II/III, and IV/V), differences
in the number of priorities for each
category were examined using Friedman
one-way analyses of variances
(ANOVAs). Post hoc analysis of significant
effects was performed using
the Wilcoxon signed rank test. For
each category, differences in the
number of priorities between age
groups and GMFCS level subgroups
were analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis
one-way ANOVAs. Post hoc analysis
of significant effects was performed
using the Mann-Whitney U test. Chisquare
tests were used to determine
whether the proportion of parents
with at least one priority related to
mobility differed by age group and
GMFCS level subgroup. A probability
of P_.01 was used for all analyses.
For each age group and GMFCS level
subgroup, the percentage of the
number of priorities among the total
number of priorities for each subcategory
was calculated. Differences
were not analyzed statistically.
