Enzymatic hydrolysis
The enzymatic convertibility of the three biomass samples
(maize, clover and rye) is shown in Fig. 2. Fresh maize (51.4%)
and fresh clover (31.8%) are followed by fresh rye (28.6%). The
enzymatic convertibility of ensiled materials was for all three
biomass samples slightly higher than those of fresh crops.
