The rind and peel of mangosteen fruit contained over 20 times
more phenolics than did the edible aril of the fruit. The results of
our study also indicate that extracts from rind and peel are very
effective precipitants of dye-labelled BSA. On the other hand, extract
obtained from edible aril displayed greater affinity for BSA
