Moreover,
the presence of cyclohexane hydroperoxide as a side product was
not detected probably due to of its higher instability under our
reaction condition at the end of 4 h reaction. It is noticed that the
ratios of cyclohexanone to cyclohexanol with TiO2 catalyst system
were higher than 2:1, suggesting a possible catalytic mechanism.
With the increase of reaction time (5 h) using TiO2 NFs, it was
observed 62% conversion with the selectivity of 64% of 13, 29% of
14 and byproducts (7%) including adipic acid, 2-hexenal and other
unknown.
