suppliers. The company’s two main distribution centers are being
replenished by approximately thousand suppliers. This study
concentrates on analyzing the performance of one of the company’s business lines in the European distribution center.
The material scope consisted of 17,000 stock keeping units that represented around 25% of the company’s total stockkeeping units. Fig. 1 presents the company’s simplified spare parts distribution chain. Although the company has both internal(e.g.country warehouses , proximitystocks) and external customers
(e.g. other service companies),the demand is not separated
between them and both of the marereferred to as customers in the study.
