This famous bread from Bath in England is said to have been brought to America by the English settlers. It is known all over the United States but has become a popular specialty bread in the South, where it is served with lunch. The America version was originally made in a Turk’s-head mold, but is now less elaborate, bake in a tube pan. There are also miniature versions baked in petit four pans, and muffin-size versions made in muffin pans.
