4.1.3 Absolute Attitude Determination
Integration of the Body Rotation Rate (Inertial Rate
Mechanization) suffers from the risk of continuous discrete
time integration error. So beside the attitude determination
that relies on integration and angular rate [p q r]T
measurement, it will be very advantageous if we have
attitude determination mechanism that only relies on single
measurement in time. Several approaches will be presented,
and the sensors involved here are triad of accelerometers (to
measure gravity vector) and magnetometers (to measures
earth magnetic vector).
