Foods to avoid: caffeine
There's no solid evidence to support claims that a mother's diet can cause colic or allergic reactions in infants, however there are some foods you can probably safely give the flick—or at least limit your intake.
Caffeine passes into your breast milk which can over-stimulate breastfed babies, so try to limit caffeine-laden drinks like tea, coffee, cola or protein- and energy supplements.
