Reflection
Safety culture is built on a foundation of reflection and measurement; self-awareness is the first step to improvement. Every associate has a role to play in creating a strong safety culture and must be provided an opportunity to voice their opinion on how we are progressing. Measurement tools are used periodically to quantify these reflections and identify areas for improvement; similar to the way we use the Credo Survey to assess overall company culture at Johnson & Johnson. A safety culture survey is the key diagnostic tool for this process.
