The snow falls. It falls and falls and falls. The snow falls all day long. Jeremy watches it from his bedroom window. "I can't wait to go outside," he thinks. "I want to play in the snow." He lays his head on his arm and frowns. "But I can't," he thinks.
Jeremy is waiting to go play in the snow. Before Jeremy can go play in the snow, he must wait for his brother, Rob, to get home.
Rob goes to school. But Jeremy doesn't. That's because Jeremy is too young for school. For now, he has to stay home with his dad. But that's not so bad, thinks Jeremy. He likes to stay at home with his dad most of the time. The only bad part about staying at home with his dad is that his dad has to work in his office a lot. This means he can't watch Jeremy all the time. And Jeremy cannot play outside by himself. When he is older, Jeremy can go to school with his brother. But for now, he has to stay at home.
Jeremy watches the driveway for his mom's car. Time passes very slowly. But then, he sees a car appear. It is his mom! He runs to the door.
"Don't forget your jacket!" says his dad.
"Okay!" says Jeremy. He quickly puts on his jacket and goes out to meet the car. He sees his brother there. The snow is coming down all around him. It looks like a thousand white feathers.
"It's snowing!" says Rob, holding out his arms.
"I know!" says Jeremy. "Let's build a snowman!
