First of all, most parents are busy with their work to earn the income to purchase product that children require. This means that money is an important factor to make a good living of family and to meet a satisfaction which is unlimited. However, parents try to compensate children by letting them watch television at the primetime. Shah (2010) stated that children between the ages of two and seventeen watch television more than the hours spent per year in school time. While children watch advertisement from television but they are unable to analyze whether the content is right or wrong, they are easily persuaded by the advertisement.
Another reason is after watching advertisement, children’s need of the product is completed by the parents. The parents try to pamper their children by providing everything they request. According to Mueller (2011) stated that parents intend to raise their children to the best of their ability that they think is good for their children; even though, the real need of children is not about snack or toy but the time for taking care of them.
