worsening effects for smell, flavour and turbidity (Table 1).
3.3. Growth kinetics and growth inhibition of vegetative cells
The growth kinetics over the 24-h period in the laboratory BAT
broth for the A. acidoterrestris reference strain and for the two food
isolates of A. hesperidum and A. cycloheptanicus were comparable
(Fig. 1). The addition of V20 and V40 at their MICs showed significant
antimicrobial effects and growth inhibition of the vegetative
