Key Qualifications
8 - 10 years of relevant work experience
Outstanding presentation, written & verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills (English, and local language as appropriate)
Strong, proven talent for training in a classroom environment
Strong virtual-team leadership skills, with the ability to interact at all levels
Experience in mentoring and coaching individuals to maximise performance
Ability to inspire, empower and instil confidence to sell the Apple way
Proven ability to adapt to a constantly changing technology environment
Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced in the various sales environments including retail, business and solutions.
Experience working directly with Sales
Ability to work independently and also cooperatively as part of an extended team
Strong sense of initiative and pro-activeness
Ability to convey technical concepts in easy to understand language
Believe in Apple products and be able to share your own stories
Sales Experience
Technical / IT Experience, ability to train on technical solutions messaging
Description
Manage the delivery of training to external Channel sales and pre-sales organisations (focus to include selling skills, demonstration skills, technical and product / solution knowledge). Actively support and train Apple ASC, ASM sales teams, ensuring exceptional quality and knowledge in these sales teams. Assess training needs and make recommendations on learning paths for members of the channel and ASC / ASM communities. Ensure all training events and interactions are top quality “Apple experiences”. Contribute to online portals supporting various sales communities. Provide input to the customisation and localisation of training materials to ensure that they meet the specific audience and country needs. Maintain extensive knowledge of all relevant course material. Ensure all training delivered reflects understanding of Channel needs and Apple market opportunities and areas of focus. Establish and maintain outstanding relationships within the Channel community, particularly focused on sales, pre-sales and training contacts. Contribute to development of training policies, programs, strategy, and budget planning.
Education
Relevant tertiary education and industry qualifications / experience would be beneficial.
