when glycerine was included at 120 g/kg DM of the diet; however, adding glycerine at 160 g/kg DM reduced the feed conversion efficiency by 2.8% (Parsons et al., 2009). Similarly, Pyatt et al.(2007) reported a 21.9% improvement in feed efficiency when glycerine was used to replace 100 g/kg DM of the dry-rolled corn content in cattle diets.
