(พระธาตุหนองคาย หรือ พระธาตุกลางน้ำ) is a broken pagoda in the middle of the Mekong River. According to the legend of Urangkhathat (Phrathat Phanom), nine pieces of the Lord Buddha’s foot relics were kept here. It was presumed that the pagoda was built in around the 15th – 17th Century.
