The concept of a robotics cloud is shown in Fig. 3. It
contains advanced intelligence data resources, an ability pool, a
robot cluster, human being modules with interactions and
feedback among the modules. While performing a task, a robot
can download data from the advanced intelligence data
resources and ability pools or obtain knowledge that has been
shared by other robots. The advanced intelligence data
resources and ability pools themselves are cloud-like and
contain a range of ability data for robots. From these resources,
robots can obtain the knowledge needed to interact with people
and provide services by integrating emotions. Robots could
judge and learn from a human's affective feedback (expressed
through language, sound, expressions, and other physiological
phenomenon) and alter synthetic emotions and the way they
provide a service.
