Introduction:
Revise what we mean by the word'weight'. Ask, what do we use to measure weight? Why is this useful? When do we use this skill (cooking, measuring ourselves, cts.) Establish the Key vocabulary of heaviest, lightest, lighter and heavier. Ask the pupils what the words mean and when they are used. Introduce children to the Picture Cards. Ensure that they recognise each item. Explain the rules of the game.
