Step 3: Check for interference with your wireless signal
Your wireless adapter is functioning correctly, so the next step is to see if anything is interfering with your wireless network signal.
Disconnect third-party headsets
Third-party wireless headsets can cause active interference because they broadcast on the same frequency as wireless routers. If you are using a wireless headset, disconnect the power from the base station of the wireless headset.
Now check to see if you can see your wireless network:
Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, then select System Settings.
Select Network Settings.
Note If you already have the Available Networks display open, press the X button to scan again for wireless networks.
Do you see your wireless network under Available Networks?
