Risk estimates for advanced and/or multiple adenoma (323 cases) were not statistically significant for red (OR=1.32, 95% CI=0.91–1.94) or processed meat (OR=1.12, 95% CI=0.76–1.65). White meat intake was not associated with incident distal colorectal adenoma; there was also no clear association when separated into chicken (quartile 4 vsquartile 1 OR=0.95, 95% CI=0.78–1.15) and fish (OR=1.16, 95% CI=0.96–1.40).
