What is superstition?
The word “superstition” comes from the Latin word “super” which means “above” , and “stare” which means, “to stand”. In the past, the warriors who survived in a war were called “superstition” because they were still alive and “stood above” their friend who died in the war.
Nowadays superstition mean beliefs about luck, which can be good or bad. Although some people feel that superstition are nonsensical, many people still believe in them.
