Suddenly he yells for people/soldiers outside the room and says a mouse has made its way in. He explains that a girl who brought in the food is a new one he didn’t recognize or know anything about her origins. The fact that she was able to do this was irresponsible and is a serious offense. They must have tried to defend themselves because he says next that he doesn’t want to hear it. Only people that he finds useful can remain here. He yells for them to be quiet, so more protests must have been made. He calls them useless and says there are so many others who want to work in the castle. Why did choose this girl? The Red King scoffs and says that he doesn’t need girls who only have pretty faces. They should have looked into her background more. Saying there’s never enough people is not a good reason to help out any person who needs work/a place to stay. (I wrote that section referring to the listener in third person since he wasn’t talking to you, but about you to other people)
