From our group went to Shabu De Bear restaurant to interview owner about cost of Pokémon Go’s Promotion. The owner said that her business did not have cost to use Pokémon Go to promote because she used technology to promote such as Facebook and Wongnai. Moreover, Pokémon Go application is free download and has free item to attract Pokémon hunter in the near area. Sometime customer bought and used special item to promote her restaurant. So, using Pokémon Go did not make others cost for this restaurant. On the other hand, when we analysis, we found the fact that this restaurant had cost of using Pokémon Go to promote. Shabu De Bear restaurant had a promotion that when caught a Pokémon in restaurant and capture that picture for getting discount 200 baht per receipt. We identified cost as “Hidden cost” because 200 baht discount for one bill that access conditions of promotion. So, it made profit per bill decrease actually. At the same time, business only think that they must have more income into their business. Using anyway chance to make profit by ignore hidden cost because business may don’t have knowledge enough. So, getting 200 per rescript affect to decrease profit as cost. We think this point is important to give notice for next strategic planning. Finally, Pokémon Go will be still choice of promotion that business use to promote and attract customer to consume as well. When the trend turn back again.
